- Lighting and body electrical systems
- Voltage, resistance, and voltage-drop measurements
A short practice session samples topics; it does not cover every task on the certification exam.
How to study electrical/electronic systems
Draw the complete current path, including the ground return, before interpreting a meter reading. For every measurement, identify the two probe locations and whether the circuit is operating under load. Compare what a continuity check establishes with what a loaded voltage-drop test can reveal.
